For Indonesia, 2014 was a political year. In 2014, a series of elections were held, namely April 9 to elect members of the DPR and DPRD and then July 9 to elect the President-vice president. Watchdoc produced a documentary called The Yang Ketu7uh (The Seventh) to record the political frenzy at the time. However, Yang Ketu7uh film does not highlight the direct contestation between the two presidential candidates, namely Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla and Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Radjasa, but rather raises the views and hopes of the small community in seeing the celebration of the democratic party.

The film followed ordinary people,  Nita, 60, a laundry worker and housemaid in Tangerang Banten, Amin Jalalen, a farmer working on state-owned land in Indramayu, West Java, and Suparno and Sutara, two Jakarta residents who work as odd jobs  and lives in a slum area in the capital Jakarta. These four figures were actively involved as citizens by participating in the celebration of the election by casting their respective votes with the emergence of new leaders will bring changes to their fate and welfare.

The simple aspirations and hopes of the wong cilik (small persons) which were then framed by the picture of the electoral process in Indonesia 2014, starting from the party campaign ahead of the legislative elections, to the frenetic presidential election which was finally won by the pair Joko Widodo and Jusuf Kalla. Yang Ketu7uh was screened in national cinemas, but previously the film was screened publicly in the public area Kota Tua (Old City of Jakarta).
